Paul Allanson has been a lecturer in the Department of Economic Studies at the University of Dundee since 1995. He is a graduate of Newcastle University (BSc Agric Econ) with a PhD from Manchester University and was formerly Lord Richard Percy Fellow in the Centre for Rural Economy at Newcastle.
Research Interests
Applied microeconomics including recent work on wage discrimination in the South African labour market; the distribution of agricultural support and the welfare of the farming community; imperfect competition among multiproduct firms.
